Services & Fees

Speech Pathology

Appointments are available in-office or via Telehealth.
A limited number of school/daycare visits are available during school hours (incurs travel fee).
Appointments available Monday - Saturday.
Below is a guideline of our fees, current from 1st July 2024. Please contact us to confirm these details are relevant to your child, and for further information.

All services are billed at the hourly rate of $193.99. Please contact us for a copy of our fee structure.

Assessments

Initial Consultation:

Initial consultation session
- This includes 60 minutes of direct face to face contact with you and your child for screening assessment and preparation of a therapy plan.
- As above, a parent telehealth appointment is completed before and after initial consultations.

All new clients should book an initial consultation.

Diagnostic Assessments:

We offer formal / diagnostic assessments. Assessments include preparation and delivery of a detailed, formal report.
These assessments are priced based on time required. For more information on our assessment fees, please contact us below.

Subsequent Therapy

Therapy Sessions:

Standard in-person 45 minute therapy session
- This includes 45 minutes of direct, face to face therapy with your child
- 15 minutes of indirect services are included
Short in-person 30 minute therapy session
- This includes 30 minutes of direct, face to face therapy with your child.
- 15 minutes of indirect services are included

Telehealth services also available on request (where suitable)

Other Services:

Travel fees - school visits incur a travel fee based on time travelled from the clinic, please contact us for more information.
Reports - assessment summary report, therapy progress report, NDIS Plan review report - billed at hourly rate
Presentations & Consulting – Cara is available for consulting or professional development on the areas of speech, language and literacy development.

AHA Support

We are pleased to be able to offer speech therapy programs through our Allied Health Assistants, or AHAs.

AHAs support speech pathologists by completing therapy programs to help you meet your goals.
AHAs provide 'delegated care', this means that the therapy is planned and supervised / monitored by your speech pathologist.
AHAs can help you to access affordable support, or to increase how often you access sessions.

At Talk Read Grow, an intervention block across a school term with our AHA might look like:

Initial consultation with the speech pathologist, to complete assessment and prepare a therapy plan
1 x joint session with the speech pathologist and your AHA
Ongoing weekly or twice weekly sessions with the AHA
1 x joint midway session with the AHA and speech pathologist to monitor progress
Provision of homework each week

Costs:

Our AHA sessions are billed at the hourly rate of $86. Fees may also include time for the supervising speech pathologist's planning. Please contact us for more information on session fees.

Literacy Tutoring

Appointments available for children and young adults, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in our clinic.

Cathy is our specialist literacy tutor, with a background as an experienced school teacher. (Cathy is currently on leave until further notice)
Our AHA Shae is also a trained Sounds Write Practitioner.
